Introduction

Static eliminators are used to eliminate static and dust. Static electricity is a problem, which companies face globally. It primarily affects industries, which handle non conductive materials like plastics, paper, board, laminates and textiles. The electrostatic attraction repulsion cause materials to stick to machinery, or to each other, leading to jams, slow machine speed and poor quality and productivity. Friction, pressure and separation are the major causes of static electricity. When humidity is lower, higher static charges are generated. It becomes more noticeable in the months of winter, in dry laminates, and in air conditioned environments.

Static Power Supply

The Eltech 331 static charge eliminator, supplied by us is the most common power supply for all the electrodes.
Our Eltech 335 static charge eliminator is a highly suitable power supply for shock less electrodes.

Power Units

The Eltech 331 power unit is the most important of different Eltech's static control equipment. The instrument produces high voltage, low current in a controlled and safe manner. It's compact size and structure is suitable for most industrial environments. The defect free products and quality ensures efficient use and maximum customer satisfaction.

We have designed the Eltech 331 power supply and the different discharge bars for active discharging of disruptive static charges, which develop during the production processes. The discharge bars and the power supply are used primarily in cases where disruptive static charges on fast moving material webs impair production processes and required to be eliminated.

Static Web Cleaner

Web cleaning technology :

Eltech developed static web cleaning system for high quality of printing. Static web cleaner removes static charge from material and removes the dirt from web.

Problem :

Dirty webs causing loss of profit and customer dissatisfaction.

High reject rates in laminating processes.

The Eltech web cleaning system, an effective solution to material contamination. It solves all above problems. It has been developed as a result of our experience gained though our world-wide application of electrostatic and dust control systems. System comprises two main elements, the cleaning head and the dust collection system.

The cleaning head offers exceptional cleaning performance. It combines static eliminators, brushes and high power vacuum dust collection.

Shock less Electrodes

The emitter points of a shock-less static eliminator receive high voltage indirectly. If someone touches the ionizing points, he will feel only a minor tingling sensation. The ionized field is most intensely closed to the emitter pins. The best distance for good static neutralization is between 10 mm to 20 mm.

Air Driven Static Eliminator

Air is used to transport ionized air to the object for long range static neutralization or dust removal. Ionized air blowers are used for wide area and long range static neutralization. Air driven static eliminators extend the range of static control drastically. The HV electrodes are often used used to clean objects. Since static attracts dirt, the use of an air driven static eliminator cleans objects and keeps them clean for a longer time.

The use of ionized air plowers ensure powerful, long range, wide area static neutralization. They are widely used to neutralize moldings, winders, sheets and other large objects.
It is powered by 331 static charge eliminator.

Compressed Static Air Gun

It is the ideal technique of removing static, contaminants and dust from three dimensional parts before assembling, packaging, painting or finishing. The ion air gun neutralizes the static electricity and cleans at distances up to 2 feet .

When ordinary compressed air is used to remove dust, its efficiency gets reduced. In case the static charge, which holds the dust to the product is not neutralized, both the the product and the dust will remain statically charged and capable of re-contamination. The ion air gun is rugged in design and an industrialized ionizing air gun. It is mainly used to eliminate static charges and blow off contaminants from the surface of laminated woods, plastics, rubbers and glass. At the same time the neutral surface doesn't re-attract airborne contaminants from the manufacturing process.

If the compressed air is ionized, the static charge will be eliminated, which allows superior quality cleaning without re- attraction. We assure our clients that they will enjoy many hours of fatigue-free operation.

Circular Static Eliminator Electrode

The Eltech circular static eliminator electrode is highly suitable for installation on vertical form and fill machinery. The system provides 360 degree ionization and helps in eliminating the static on the entire surface of the material being fill. Controlling the static charge helps in eliminating the entrapment of filled material in the seal area of the bag and avoids unsightly "static cling" of the fill material to the inside of the bag.

We manufacture circular version with internal diameters ranging from 40 mm to 250 mm. These are used in applications where 360o neutralization is required such as plastic pipe extrusions, vertical form fill packaging machines, textile slivers etc.

We supply superior quality static charge meters. These meters are non contact, light weight digital instrument, designed with the objective of measuring static voltages on surfaces and objects. The meter features a large LCD display, indicating the magnitude and polarity of the electrostatic charges.

This circuitry is chopper stabilized that enables repeated and draft-free measurements without continual re-zeroing. Highly applicable in ionized environments, this instrument has good directional sensitivity and is ideal for measuring electric charges encountered in critical electronic assembly. Provided with storage areas it can also be used for Plastics, paper, textiles, food, explosives and pharmaceutical industries.

This unit gives direct readings of electrostatic potentials on any surface, when held at a distance of 5 cms and can measure higher electrostatic potential by proportionately increasing the distance from the meter to the charged object. Featured with long working life, it can be used for 6 months under normal usage.

We offer superior quality static chargers that can be used to stick PP / BOPP / polystyrene foil material to the inner mold surface during injection molding. This makes the foil constant in a position in the mold due to charging. These static chargers are manufactured in compliance with international quality & safety standards.
